Real life introspection lab

Framework
In the Real Life Introspection Lab, you will be working with a group and a business psychologist on you personal profile, values and a specific personal or leadership dilemma based on a personality test or a feedback tool.

The business psychologist will give you individual feedback on your test, discussing personal resources, values and needs in relation to you and your role as a leader. In addition, the group will be working with reflections and possible new approaches to the dilemma that you have chosen to deal with and present to the group. After the feedback from the business psychologist, you will receive feedback and reflections from the group.

The business psychologist manages the process and ensures that the group is working in a useful way with your chosen personal or leadership problem and is giving you constructive feedback. Furthermore, the business psychologist will give individual feedback that is "unsettling" in such a way that you receive a useful push in your personal development, without comprising your integrity.

The dynamics - why is this simple framework so effective?

  • You will gain a deeper self-knowledge and recognition of your strengths and challenges as an individual as well as in relation to your different roles - as a leader, employee, spouse, etc. In this way, you will acquire a sense of when you are at risk in terms of inopportune behaviour, how to deal with this and which scope for development you have, based on your personality, experience and competence.

  • You will learn how to give feedback to very different people in a way that enables the recipients to develop in relation to different problems. This again will provide you with a broad knowledge about how different people can develop, and you will also get a strong network to support you in your everyday life.

  • A new basis for building mutual trust and acceptance through respect for personal differences.

  • An existential confrontation with yourself, your values and your intentions in life.

From change to transformation
Processes like these can work as a catalyst for lasting personal change, because the experiences influence your perception of yourself, of your relations to others and your scope for personal development. You will acquire inspiration for the active exploitation of your resources as a point of departure for personal growth. Thus, you will learn how to use these resources to create personal development and growth for yourself and others.

Derived learning such as becoming aware of your personal integrity, roles, boundaries, powers, etc., will give you a solid and constructive foundation in terms of your future personal development.
