Participant profile

The CBL programme is directed at leaders with a minimum three years of relevant management experience and experienced project managers. CBL participants are required to speak and understand English as the majority of the programme and the assignments is conducted in English.

Objective of the CBL programme
The CBL programme is certified training in ”Business Administration and Leadership”. The programme covers core disciplines within Management and Leadership with emphasis on your personal development as a leader.

The CBL programme aims to give you a strong foundation for your further career with globally oriented management development at MBA level. At CBL you will establish a good framework for your knowledge and understanding of your organisation – both integrating and strategically.

Through a broad range of learning and experiences, you will gain a strong managerial overview and learn the fundamental skills required of today’s leader.

Close to your reality

During the programme, theory will be put into practice. The training is realistic and leans against your everyday life. You will be involving your co-workers in your own development and you will help develop your organisation as a whole. This means that you will learn to directly apply your acquired knowledge in everyday contexts.

You will be presented with stimulating concepts and new thinking and you will be able to use your new knowledge with results that are visible, important and valid.

The CBL programme gives you balance, anchoring and implementation
The CBL programme is a prolonged course of 12 months, divided into seven modules of 2-3½ days. The distribution is approximately 1/3 on Leadership, Management and Personal Development, respectively. A written examination will be given after the 6th module, after which you will receive an approved educational certificate. You can anticipate a workload of approximately 15 hours a week (on average) during the course of the programme.

The programme is designed to provide you with an opportunity to learn new things and develop as an individual while maintaining the important balance between your studies, work and personal life. The many developmental stages are effective because they give you an opportunity to test the effect of the inspiration and learning you have received between the modules.

Henley – triple-accredited business school

It is crucial to keep accreditation in mind when wishing to ensure that your executive training is of high quality. The most important international accreditation authorities are:

The CBL programme gives merit towards a Henley MBA
The CBL programme is in itself a closed programme and earns you a Certificate in Business Administration and Leadership. However, the CBL programme also gives merit towards a Henley MBA. This means that, once you have completed the CBL programme, you can continue directly onto: Stage 2 – (diploma) of the MBA and Stage 3 – the full MBA.

You may begin Stage 2 whenever it suits you, your life and your career – the only requirement is that you begin within two years upon completing the CBL programme.

The educational level of the CBL programme corresponds to an MBA – and has been carefully selected and planned by a faculty of facilitators put together by Mannaz and Henley.

Facilitators

You will receive theory and practical training by facilitators with academic as well as professional backgrounds.

Experienced facilitators from Henley are responsible for the instruction in strategic business-oriented topics within management. The intensive training in leadership and personal leadership will be carried out by experienced professional psychologists, who have been carefully selected by Mannaz for the CBL programme.
